1. Mary (E. Lord) 3.07

Oh Mary, I hardly know you

But looking in your eyes of crystal blue

Like a distant memory I see the truth

I met you on the last day of December

Now all at once my resolution's clear

The peace I'm longing for has always been here

Oh Mary

I aspire to be a woman full of love
and free of fear

A single moment spent with you and it's become so very clear

The time is now, to drop my armour

To leave behind the darkness, start dancing in the light

When you're coming from your heartspace

Is there really any other place to be?

Oh Mary

I aspire to be a woman full of love
and free of fear

A single moment spent with you and it's become so very clear

I've questions, as for answers...

You know the seed of truth lies buried in the soul

And the less we speak the more we'll find the gold

Oh Mary, I feel I know you now

For there's something in your eyes beyond the plain

It's the mystery of love that reveals itself again and again

Oh Mary

2. Find
The Way
(E. Lord) 4.12

It was a case of mistaken identity

"Hey, I think I know you, how's your little baby?"

But he said,

Sorry ma'am. I think you've got the wrong man.

See ya later, I'm gonna check out the band"

But we know there's no mistakes

On God's great canvas he decided to paint

You and me, here and now

Meeting by chance - "Shall we dance?"

The weeks rolled by and the friendship grew

Till one September sunset when I think we both knew

This beautiful bud was ready to bloom

From that moment on I swear

I'd start to quiver when he walked in the room

Call it love

Call it anything at all

You've warmed my heart, illuminated my soul

I don't say that it's easy - learning has its days

But with my hand in yours, yours in God's

I believe we'll find the way

Don't get strung out when I look a little far ahead

Come lay beside me, let me stroke our weary head

We've both been burned and the fire's left some scars

Time's a magic healer, why look down, when up there are stars?

3. Garden
Of Love
(E. Lord / L. James) 4.15

Harry McKenzie is out on the lawn

A handful of seeds and a letter well worn

Looks up to heaven and sighs

Spent fifty years with the woman he wed

Now he's looking for reasons to get out of bed

Looks at the note that she wrote

Too weak to speak, the same day that she said goodbye

It asked him to sow her a garden of love

So she could return every spring

Holly-hocks, Daphne and daisies, her favourite thing

Was dancing till dawn on a Saturday night

Walking alone 'neath the moon

Singing her favourite love songs, out of tune

Photographs safely away lock and key

Memories will keep you adrift on the sea

Taking one step at a time, he'll be fine

Oh what a joy to be feeling so free, after those long years of pain

He turns to gaze out the window, laughs at the rain

Change isn't easy at seventy-two

Still so much healing and kneeling to do

Taking one step at a time, he'll be fine

4. The
Light
(E. Lord / L. James) 3.36

Would I change the past, dare undo all I was led to

Just to save you from your present despair

What you're seeing in these clear blue eyes has taken thirty years

And it's true I'm only at the starting line

But there's a light I've seen brighter than I've known

It gets down through the layers, cuts you to the bone

When it hits you there's no denying where you're going

We could do it together

Yeah we could do it together, find our way back home

Oh blazing light, keep on shining

You fill my being, liberate my soul

I've pulled back the curtains, opened up the windows

Come on, come fill me up, make me whole

So you ask when will confusion end and clarity begin

Could it be another lifetime away?

If we hold the light, we'll be the love

Now we're ready for a brand new day

6. Roses
(E. Lord) 3.32

She's a heart full of roses in bloom

The fragrance delights me as I enter her room

With a kind word or deed, or the glint in her eye

She can heal all the suffering, wipe the tears dry

Well she married quite young to a farmer

Twenty-eight years 'till he was called over

But he left her a gift more than money could buy

'Twas the art of surrender, to let go and fly

Chorus

Then in time there came to her another

A man with a vision, her twin soul to nurture

And she calls him, 'My Darling' and he answers in kind

They're a picture of love both in heart and in mind

As they live by the guidance they're sent to remind us

Of the love we all share

For home's where the heart is

So the beautiful part is they can be everywhere

With their hearts full of roses in bloom

The fragrance delights me as I enter their room

With a kind word or deed or the glint in their eye

They can heal all the suffering, wipe the tears dry.

7. Now
I Know Why
(L. James) 4.43

Riding that long hard road to nowhere

Each of us surely could begin

Back to the highest in me - looking within

Now I know why I love you

Now I know why I care

It's something too deep to ponder

But something so good to share

Some say I'm losing my direction

I say I've only just begun

To see things as they are, not just how I am

Chorus

I don't need a reason to love you; It's not what we think

I don't need to understand

By the grace of life we'll find out, whatever is in store

Maybe sooner, maybe late

Let it go love will show the way forever more

And if we get lost along the journey

Something I know we're bound to do

I'll help you to find the sign posts

You'll help me too

8.
The Love We've Outgrown (G. Lyon, L. James) 4.05

I know what you're thinking baby as I hang up the phone

The fool says he's leaving for good, I've heard it before

But do we ever learn from our past or just continue to moan

For the things that we still haven't got right or the love we've outgrown

I've tried to stay here

Believe me, I've tried, to be all you wanted

But I've compromised my dreams and yours

And now I can't hide

So goodbye my love, don't you try

To talk about seeds we've sown

'Cause I'm through with the things we ain't got right

And this love we've outgrown

9. Make
Peace
(L. James) 5.48

Make peace with your past

And I'll make peace with mine

Lord knows that we'll all be together somehow

Till the end of time

At least we'll know, what we have is true

Make Peace with your past and let it go

Sweet love will come back to you

I was searching high and low

Looking for a better way

But day by day I was getting no closer to keeping the blues at bay

Now I can see my tendency for holding' on to 'run and hide'

Now I know I've got to face that devil inside

I was one of those folks all up in your face

Always telling others how to do

I could see the speck in my brother's eye

'Fore I'd find the log in mine it's true

Then one day I woke and started to choke on the way my life had been

Oh Lord I know just where to begin

Chorus

It's gonna hurt when you lose your shirt

And the bank says your game is played

To see our mother earth all smothered over by this loveless world we made

When all the killing and the hating and the loving and the mating

Finally gets to be too much

You gotta look inside and you'll find that tender touch

Chorus

Seems to me the more time you think

The less time you have to feel

Lose that frown, turn it upside down

This may be a good time to kneel

And give thanks and praise that there's still ways

To let go of all that pain

Lift up your voice singing out one last refrain.

Chorus

10.
Deep In My Heart (E. Lord) 3.48

Back in '92 when I first set eyes upon you

You were strumming your guitar, at the local friendly bar

I said, "Hello, what brings you to the bay?" You said,

"I've come down from Kuranda and I hadn't planned to stay"

I couldn't speak, I was captured by your charm

I couldn't have you, you were promised to another, but

I didn't run you know how things can change

I've seen it all before

This time I'll hold the dream, deep in my heart

Along the way, connected by the music

We would stop and say hello

Until the day, we were both alone together

And I took your hand in mine

I didn't speak

I was lost within the ocean of your love

I didn't run, you know I've wanted this forever

I've never felt like this before

We made a vow, in the company of friends

Beneath a sky of gentle rain

Swore to be true, giving shelter to our children too

The singers and the songs

Their dreams would now be one

I cried with joy at the mystery and magic of it all

We'll write the songs - share them with the world

For love alone will be the key

Living in perfect harmony

This dream we share will set us free

Deep in our hearts

These
Blue Eyes
(E.Lord/L.James)

Just when you think you can't go on, that your whole world's caving in.

Pushing up hill, for so long now, you can't find the strength to begin.

Look over your shoulder, see what you can find,

there's always love in These Blue Eyes

Skippin' along like a skimmin' stone
over the ocean of time

There's a lifeline to cling to, a loving voice to sing you home, across
the tide.

Look over your shoulder, see what you can find,

there's always love, in These Blue Eyes

These Blue Eyes, hold you in their
gaze, warm you in the winter,

find you in the maze

Blue Eyes, melt your heavy heart, and hold the child inside of you that
cries,

These Blue Eyes

Ryleigh's
Last Run
(E.Lord, L.James)

Ryleigh was a stoker in the early
days of steam,

Way back in his childhood driving trains had been his dream.

On the Northern Rivers Line today, he'd take his final run,

From the big smoke to Murwillumbah, the journey had begun.

He's heading out of Sydney in the
morning,

And the children wave to greet him as he runs

At the end of the line, heaven knows the sun will shine, coming home,

On Ryleigh's Last Run

His memories drifted back to all
those places on the way,

The early morning mists at Stroud, the moon at Byron Bay.

The heat from Wooyung cane fires, where the flames would flicker high,

A family reunion brought a tear to his wistful eye.

Still he's heading out of Sydney
in the morning,

And the Manning River shimmers in the sun

At the end of the line, heaven knows the sun will shine,

Coming home, on Ryleigh's Last Run

Ryleigh never married, he was born
to ride alone,

And I wonder what he'll do , without the railway for a home.

Still he's heading out of Sydney
in the morning, as he turns the XPT into the sun

At the end of the line, forty years is a long, long time,

Coming home, on Ryleigh's Last Run

Wish him well, it's Ryleigh's Last Run.
